Annual General Meeting 2026
The 2026 Both Parents Matter AGM will take place online on Saturday 21st November 2026.
At the AGM, we’ll share an update on our work, give you the opportunity to ask questions and hear from the Board, and hold elections for new trustees. The AGM is open to members only so if you are not yet a member, please sign up before 20th October 2026. Formal notices will be sent to all members after this date.
Become a trustee
Being a trustee is a great opportunity to help shape and steer Both Parents Matter’s work, to bring your skills and experience to our Board and make a real difference to parents undergoing family separation.
We are looking for new people to join our Board of Trustees, who can help us drive change.
We are especially interested in:
· Charity know-how experience – experience of running or supporting other charities and an understanding of how effective charities operate.
· Digital & IT expertise – an understanding of websites, technology and how to build an effective digital presence
· People who make things happen – organised, proactive problem-solvers who can turn ideas into action, take ownership and get results.
You don’t need to have family court experience nor previous trustee experience.
We’re looking for people who bring a fresh perspective, skills, energy and commitment, with independence and clarity to help steer our mission.
How to apply
If you would like to apply to become a trustee, please send us your CV and a short statement explaining why you would like to become a trustee, what skills and experience you would bring to the Board, and how you could contribute to the future work of Both Parents Matter.
If you have been a fully paid-up member for a year at the AGM, you can nominate someone else to become a trustee. In that case, please send us your nomination by email and ask your nominee to send us their CV and a short statement as above. Please send to admin@bothparentsmatter.org.uk by close of 13th October 2026.
