- I’m technically an OAP since May 2023. I still work 2 days a week. On leaving school I spent 14 years in the Army followed by 21 years as a Police officer. Then self-employed till retirement.
- I’m divorced and have one daughter aged 24. We have to deal with a lot of alienation issues within our relationship. I spent 16 years in the Family Courts mostly as a LIP up to High Court level. I found FNF as a father needing help. Later set up and ran FNF Leicester for 10 years and became a Trustee in 2013.
- My time as a trustee will be dedicated to supporting our CEO, Growing the charity from ground level supporting members and increasing membership. To increasing the charities National profile and influence. My own area of knowledge and interest is getting Cafcass, Police, and the Family courts to recognize that denial of contact to your children both before court and in breach of court orders is Domestic Abuse, Controlling and Coercive Behaviour. That’s what the law says it is. Parents and Children being denied contact need to be recognized as the victims and the offending parent held to account and stopped from denying contact.
