In February 2017, as a newly separated dad, I attended my first Both Parents Matter meeting, feeling lost. The volunteers’ compassion inspired me, leading to a journey of research and advocacy.
Discovering scientific consensus supporting equal post-breakdown parenting, I initiated a campaign, engaging with MPs, ministers, lawyers, and others. My motivation wasn’t just my resolved case but the ordinary parents fighting in courts for equal relationships. Through word of mouth, they shared diverse stories, united by a desire to remain vital in their children’s lives.
Now, my determination aligns with Both Parents Matter’s mission, aiming to make a difference and ensure essential support.
